Our Story
In 2018, Bill Miller, owner of Discount Fabric Warehouse, was given the opportunity to become an authorized Baby Lock retailer on Oahu. Seeing it as a good opportunity, Bill decided to open a small sewing machine store in Honolulu. Hawaii Creative Sewing opened in November 2018 inside Kaimuki Dry Goods.
Since then, Bill has purchased Kaimuki Dry Goods and we are currently one big happy family. HCS has been absorbed into KDG and while we still answer to Hawaii Creative Sewing, to find us on social media, please use Kaimuki Dry Goods.
