Learn Quilting 101 in this 2 session class while making a fun beginner-friendly table runner. In this class you will learn to perfect your 1/4 in seam, piecing, adding borders, as well as machine quilting and binding.

This is an in depth class that will teach you everything you need to know about sewing with your Baby Lock sewing machine. The information will apply to ALL Baby Lock and Brother sewing machines from the Jubilant up to the Solaris. How to use each foot that came with your machine and how to apply them to your projects. You will learn all the tips and tricks to make the perfect stitch. You’ll sew samples to keep for reference so you can sew a project with the new skills you’ve learned.

This is our class to get you acquainted with your new sewing machine. We want to make sure that you know how to use your new machine so that you can tell everyone how wonderful it is. In class we cover the following: machine basics, threading, bobbin winding, stitch length and width, needle positions, cleaning the machine.

One design a month for 12 months utilizing a 5×7″ hoop. A random design will be chosen from “Infinite Possibilities” book by baby lock + Anita Goodesign. These projects will keep your needle moving & introduce you to various techniques in the hoop embroidery machine.
November 13, 2023
12PM – 4PM
Cost: $90 (jelly roll and batting included)
Note: Part 1 is a prerequisite for Part 2
Just like you remember the rugs from your grandma’s house, these rugs are wrapped and sewn using a Jelly Roll and your super power sewing skills! These classes are a 2 session class lasting 3-4 hrs each and homework in between sessions.

Join Nancy in this 2 session class sewing the adorable, funtional Mav Pack. You will learn to install a zipper on a curve, add a gusset, and add ajustable straps. Pattern purchased seperately at the link included. Must have fabrics picked and cut out prior to class.

This hands on series of classes is here to help you get the most out of your top of the line Baby Lock machine’s. You will learn the in’s and out of sewing, quilting, and embroidery as well as all the exciting design capabilities your machine has. This class is meant for a new owner or as a refresher for an experienced owner. Class meets in 4 sessions with the expectations that the students will start at session 1. Sessions are subsequent and will build upon each other. Machine is required.

Join Joan in Kimberbell’s two-day machine embroidery event, you’ll make a beautiful Christmas display with 12 dimensional projects on an included, three-tiered tray. Event projects include a wide variety of techniques: 3D Christmas packages, Snowflake Fairy Lights… so many darling designs! And all made on your embroidery machine in 4×4, 5×7, and 6×10 hoops.
